Natalya Sharp Associate Broker
How does one go from the frozen Siberian steppes to the sandy shores of the Outer Banks? For starters North Carolina is much warmer (and easier to pronounce) than Mezhdurechensk, Russia, the town where I was born and raised. I dedicated much of my young life there to educational pursuits. I followed a Bachelor’s in Engineering with a Master’s degree in Business and Economics as well as earning another post-graduate degree in Accounting. In 1996, I began my career in sales working for Alfa-Eko, one of the biggest companies in Moscow – a BASF of Russia if you will. After touring the East Coast and vacationing on the Outer Banks, I fell in love with the ocean, the laid-back lifestyle, and later married my husband Grant, who is currently a chef at Meridian 42. I began my professional career in the US as an accountant working for a local CPA, but came to realize that my passion for working with people was just as great as my enthusiasm for numbers. My educational background, work experience, and outgoing personality found a natural home in the field of real estate. In 2003, I earned my Real Estate license and have been pushing forward since. My foundation as a broker working with BD&A provides both my clients and myself with the benefits of a full-service real estate and land development company. With the most complete and accurate information my clients are able to make the best possible decisions. My clients at BD&A are able to utilize the company’s comprehensive yet easy to use Web site to peruse all MLS listings as well as consider all of Resort Realty’s exclusive new development opportunities. From lot acquisition and custom home construction with in-house architects and designers, Resort Realty is a one-stop-shop. As a seller, I am also able to give you the best possible representation and market exposure from an organization with a long-standing, solid reputation. In addition, I have established close relationships with local lenders, attorneys, property managers, home inspectors, insurance agents, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange Intermediaries, and other Outer Banks real estate agents. But finding an agent to trust includes finding an individual with qualities beyond a solid education and a solid outfit behind him or her. My philosophy of going the extra mile and my determination to match the right property to the right buyer translate into passion, integrity, and professionalism for my clients. I tell it how it is and what to expect from a property. If a client asks me questions to which I don’t know the answer, I’ll admit “I don’t know” and then do the research rather than unfurl some beautiful, yet unreliable, answer. With my clients, the closing of the deal doesn’t spell the end of the relationship. I pride myself in following up with my clients to make sure that they’re satisfied with every aspect of the transaction and their new home. I look forward to meeting you and helping you determine and achieve your real estate dreams. Give me a call for a smooth, stress-free (as possible) real estate transaction.
