How does one go from the frozen Siberian steppes to the sandy shores of the Outer Banks? For starters North Carolina is much warmer (and easier to pronounce) than Mezhdurechensk, Russia, the town where I was born and raised. I dedicated much of my young life there to educational pursuits. I followed a Bachelor’s in Engineering with a Master’s degree in Business and Economics as well as earning another post-graduate degree in Accounting. In 1996, I began my career in sales working for Alfa-Eko, one of the biggest companies in Moscow – a BASF of Russia if you will. After touring the East Coast and vacationing on the Outer Banks, I fell in love with the ocean, the laid-back lifestyle, and later married my husband Grant, who is currently a chef at Meridian 42. I began my professional career in the US as an accountant working for a local CPA, but came to realize that my passion for working with people was just as great as my enthusiasm for numbers. My educational background, work experience, and outgoing personality found a natural home in the field of real estate. In 2003, I earned my Real Estate license and have been pushing forward since. My foundation as a broker working with BD&A provides both my clients and myself with the benefits of a full-service real estate and land development company.
